Access to and consumption of fresh wholesome produce varies greatly among demographic groups. Part of CAP’s social mission is to:

  • CONNECT – Local community leaders and food and health influencers and educators with fresh produce marketers and shippers that result in an increase in consumption of wholesome fresh fruits and vegetables in underserved communities and demographic groups.

  • ACCESS & ATTITUDE – Provide the tools and resources to increase access to and improve the attitude toward fresh produce consumption in underserved communities and demographic groups.

  • PROGRESS – Change the health disparity due to diet in underserved communities and demographic groups.

CAP Marketing and Sales will work with members of the underserved communities and demographics, plus health experts, educators, influencers and fresh, and produce industry leaders to define the best strategies to address these issues.
